We feel that we have found the perfect vacation home in Michigan. However, the company is asking us to send a 50% payment. They have offered no rental agreement or contract. Is this normal? Also, does anyone know what the tax rate is on this type of lodging in Saugatuck, Michigan? We have been told 12%, but that sounds kind of high. Thanks.

But no matter how I figure it out, the cost per night after 25 years is still going to be 149.00 a night! Its a rip off and I want to get out of it.
