Should I choose an NYC vacation rental located in Little Italy?

Little Italy is a cool area and duh, plenty of Italian food! Good pizza. I don’t live in that area but I have gone there occasionally to eat. I think it’s close to Chinatown. And it’s a short subway ride away from great areas like Greenwich Village and Tribeca. Do you have a subway map yet? If not, here it is:http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/nyct/maps/submap.htm

Manhattan’s “Little Italy” is actually just a few streets located in the middle of China Town. It is safe & reasonably convenient to transport, but crowded & noisy - especially on weekends when all the tourists cram the streetside restaurants until late in the evening — actually early morning.
